Instagram model ‘Miss Mercedes Morr’ Janae Gagnier (33) killed in a murder-suicide
The autopsy showed that Kevin Alexander Accorto committed suicide by inflicting multiple stab wounds with a sharp object. Police believe that the influencer did not know her killer.
On Monday, Instagram model Janae Gagnier (33), better known as ‘Miss Mercedes Morr’, was found strangled in her apartment in Texas.
In addition to Janae, the police also found a body that later turned out to belong to Kevin Alexander Accorto from Florida (34), who, according to the first information, strangled the model, and then committed suicide.
Officer Lt. Lowell Neinast said in a news release, "This is being considered a murder-suicide."
Namely, the autopsy showed that Accorto committed suicide by inflicting multiple stab wounds to himself with a sharp object.
"It is considered that there was no relationship between the suspect and the victim, " it was said in the police statement, while the influencer's sister, London Gagnier, said that Janae was followed before her death.
"She wasn't robbed. It was a maniac from another country who stalked her" London stated on Instagram.
Mercedes had 2.6 million followers on Instagram, and below her last post on Instagram, her fans have written thousands of comments of condolences.
