Kanye West claims that his new album was released without his permission
Controversial rapper Kanye West claims that his record label, Universal Music Group, released his long-awaited 10th studio album "Donda" without his permission.
Kanye posted the announcement on social media, just hours after the album 'Donda' appeared on all streaming services.
He also said that Universal refused to release one of the songs that West wanted on the album, which he recorded together with rapper DaBaby and Marilyn Manson - singers who have recently been victims of cancel culture due to their homophobic, misogynistic comments and accusations of sexual abuse.
"Universal released my album without permission and they removed the song Jail 2 from the album," Kanye wrote on Instagram.
The mentioned music company did not comment on the allegations.
Manson is currently facing several charges of sexual abuse. In February this year, his record label forcibly terminated his contract with the artist, after his ex-partner Evan Rachel Wood claimed in court that the musician had abused her mentally and physically.
DaBaby, on the other hand, was "canceled" because of the homophobic and misogynistic comments he made at the Rolling Loud Festival in Miami last month. Due to insults against LGBT people, the rapper cannot participate at the leading music festivals in the USA.
