Lana Del Rey is deactivating all of her social media accounts and she's got a good reason

Famous singer and songwriter Lana del Rey recently announced in a video she posted on Instagram that she would soon quit all social media.

Her social media accounts have now been deactivated, and she had good reason for that.

"I'm doing this to have more privacy," she said in the black and white video.

"That is simply because I have so many interests, and other jobs I’m doing that require privacy and transparency," Lana explained. "There will probably always be more to come,” she continues. “I want to say a heartfelt thank you for continuing to see me through the music. It’s always important to be witnessed... For right now, I think I'm going to just keep my circle a little bit closer and continue to develop some other skills and interests" she added.

Last week, this talented singer released a new song "Arcadia" that will be featured on her eighth studio album "Blue Banisters” which is coming out next month. Her song "Chemtrails Over the Country Club” from the album of the same name, which was released earlier this year, has already conquered the hearts of music lovers, and it is expected that this single will be nominated for this year's Grammy award later this autumn.

Since her Instagram account has been activated, watch Lana's announcement here.
