Melinda, 57, told the host that she forgave Bill at the time and that they really went through it then, but added that it wasn’t enough to take the relationship to a new level. They had to give up a marriage that lasted 27 years.
"I didn't believe in that relationship, I didn't believe we could go on, " Melinda told.
"Please respect the privacy of us and our families," the 65-year-old wrote on Twitter, adding: "After working a lot on our relationship, we made the decision to end our marriage.
