The plane on which the famous singer Miley Cyrus was traveling to Paraguay where she was supposed to hold a concert had to land forcibly after being struck by lightning. The performance at the festival in Asuncion, where she traveled with her family, band and other team members, was to be the last concert as part of her South American tour. Miley contacted fans on Instagram and posted a video of the moment when lightning struck the plane.
‘For all my fans and all those worried about the news of my flight to Asuncion. Our plane unexpectedly crashed into a big storm and we were struck by lightning. Members of my team, band, friends and family who traveled with me are safe after the forced landing. Unfortunately, we could not land in Paraguay. I love you ', she wrote in the announcement.
She also showed a photo of the damaged plane. Organizers of the Asuncion Festival have confirmed that Miley will not be performing. By the way, Miley traveled from Bogota, Colombia where she recently performed as part of her Attention tour, and in recent weeks has appeared at Lollapalooza festivals in Chile and Argentina.
