Zayn Malik filed no contest to harassment charges in dispute with Yolanda and Gigi Hadid
According to court documents obtained by the American and British media on Friday, the former member of the band One Direction was charged with four counts of harassment after he shoved his mother-in-law Yolanda into a dresser in the home he shares with Gigi Hadid, calling her “f****** Dutch slut”.
Zayn Malik did not dispute any of the four counts in the indictment, so he was sentenced to 360 days of probation, 90 days for each count of harassment. In addition, he will have to complete an anger management course, and the 28-year-old British singer must not come into contact with his mother-in-law Yolanda Hadid, nor with John McMahon, a bodyguard of the Hadid family who witnessed the incident and was attacked by Malik.

Court documents confirming the claims of previous sources that there was a fight in the couple's home in Pennsylvania appeared on Thursday with the news that Zayn and supermodel Gigi Hadid broke up. The couple lived with their one-year-old daughter Khai on a farm near Gigi's mother Yolanda's house.
According to the Daily Mail, Yolanda went to the estate of her daughter and her partner on September 29, while Gigi was at Paris Fashion Week. She was greeted at the house by Zayn, and it was unclear if Khai was with him, as well as what happened next. But they started arguing and Zayn grabbed Yolanda and pushed her onto the dresser.

He also verbally assaulted her, shouting at her to stay away from his daughter, calling his mother-in-law a “f****** Dutch slut”.
He is also said to have angrily called Gigi in Paris and yelled at her to gather her money and “defend her partner against her f****** mother in his house.”
According to court documents, the bodyguard also testified to the conflict, since Zayn verbally attacked him as well, asking him to leave the house. He reportedly questioned whether he was the father of his daughter Khai.
Gigi declined to comment on details from court documents but gave a statement Thursday night.
‘Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai’s. She asks for privacy during this time,' said her spokesman.

Zayn posted his statement on social media on Thursday confirming that the incident had taken place and that he had not disputed anything, although it was not clear at the time that an indictment had already been filed and that he was trying to protect his daughter.
"As you all know I am a private person and I very much want to create a safe and private place for my daughter to grow up in," the singer stated. "A place where private family matters aren't thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart. In an effort to protect that space for her, I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner's who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago," ’Zayn wrote in the statement. He added that he hoped that the whole thing would be resolved privately in a peaceful family environment, but that everything was leaked to the press.

Tensions between Zayn and Yolanda reportedly erupted when he suspected that she had leaked the news to the media about Gigi's pregnancy.
‘Zayn lives an almost hermit life, loves silence, solitude, slow pace, working on music. Village life suits him and they have been living on a ranch for some time. Gigi loves it too, she cooks for him every day, and she even started knitting and painting the rooms herself. But she also wants to get back to work, and that includes parties, events, red carpets, advertising campaigns, Instagram, everything that Zayn tries to avoid, 'a source told the British media.
‘Yolanda has always been a great support to Gigi and involved in her career. She always says that Zayn should also provide more support, walk the red carpets with her, post about her on Instagram, and at one point she even suggested a reality show, which horrified him, 'adds the source.
