Motorola has introduced the Edge 30
Motorola's greatest smartphone, the Edge 30 Pro, now has a somewhat younger, weaker, but half-priced 'brother,' which will appeal to those who aren't as concerned with chip power.

Motorola unveiled the Edge 30 on Wednesday, a mid-range phone that will soon be available on the market for 450 USD.
The Motorola Edge 30 has a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with FHD + resolution and a refresh rate of as much as 144 Hz. It is, therefore, a standard-size screen for today's mobile phones, which also boasts a 10-bit panel with HDR10 + technology.
The Edge 30 is powered by a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G + SoC, which is actually just an overclocked version of the already well-known 778G chip, so even slightly stronger mobile titles will "spin" quite solidly on this phone.
It should be noted that the Edge 30 comes in configurations with 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal memory, without the possibility of expansion with a microSD card, which some will not like.
In terms of cameras, the Edge 30 has three cameras - a main and ultra-wide 50 MP and a deep 2 MP. The main and ultra-wide cameras can record video in 4K at 30 frames per second and in FHD at 60 frames per second.
On the front of the screen is a 32 MP selfie camera, which is more than enough for posts on social networks and even bets. Speakers with Dolby Atmos technology are responsible for the music.
The Edge 30 has a 4,020 mAh battery, which is still slightly lower than today's market standard. However, Motorola claims that the battery will last up to a day and a half for the average user.
In any case, there is also support for TurboPower charging of 33 W, and the good thing is that the customer gets a fast charger with the phone.
Motorola also claims that the 6.79 mm thick Edge 30 is the thinnest 5G phone in the world, which will appeal to those who prefer lightweight devices. There is also an IP52 certificate that "protects" from dust and water splashes.
Finally, it should be noted that the Edge 30 has a fingerprint sensor on the side, dual-SIM slot, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC and does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The Motorola Edge 30 comes with Android 12 in gray ( Meteor Gray), silver ( Supermoon Silver), and green ( Aurora Green).
