Motorola presents the mid-range mobile Moto G62

Motorola's "G" series has been one of the best-selling handsets in the highly competitive mid-range market in recent years. Even though Asian manufacturers have pushed hard with superior features/price models, it still has a strong following. Motorola will release two new models in the coming weeks to strengthen the line.

Moto G62

The terminal is designed along the same lines as the G52, which we showed you a few months ago. It has a 6.5-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which is generally reserved for higher series.

It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+, a capable and well-proven chipset (8 ARM Cortex-A76 cores @ 2.2 GHz with Adreno 619 graphics) that also supports 5G internet networks. It comes with 4 Gbytes of RAM and 128 Gbytes of storage. In terms of cameras, the main one features a triple sensor (50MP + 8 MP ultra-wide-angle + 2 MP macro) and a front-facing 16 MP.

The Moto G62's battery capacity is 5,000 mAh, with a rapid charge rate of 20W. It has 5G, NFC, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and two nano-SIM slots that may also be utilized for microSD. It will be available "in the coming weeks" with Android 12 and Motorola's typical good software support. There is no pricing listed.

Moto G42

The second of the revealed terminals is one step down from the first, but it has some appealing features, such as an OLED panel on its 6.4-inch screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, 4 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of internal storage.

The rest of the specs are identical to the Moto G62 in terms of cameras, battery, and connections, with the exception that network support stays at 4G-LTE. It will also be available with Android 12 soon. It will be slightly less expensive than the last one, but we do not yet have a sale price.
