NEW: "Poor Things" Trailer is out!

A new trailer has been released for Yorgos Lanthimos' new film called "Poor Things". Emma Stone plays Bella Baxter, an eccentric character who is completely determined to explore life - whenever is good, bad, or bloody. As Bella explores her circumstances and experiences life, her brain begins to mature and develop a social awareness as she desperately searches for the one thing she never had: her freedom.

"Poor Things" marks the latest collaboration between Stone and Lanthimos after they first teamed up on "The Favourite", which won the BAFTA for Best British Film. Apart from the film "Poor Things", this duo reportedly has several other projects in the works, but the details are shrouded in secrecy.

The new trailer for the film "Poor Things" shows the fantastic and mystical world of the film, and we have the opportunity to follow more of the character of Bella, who is embodied by Stone. Just over a minute long, the trailer focuses on the adventures that await Bella as she experiences the world in all its glory and all its flaws. The trailer does a good job of balancing allure with mystery and, as Mark Ruffalo's character notes in the trailer, "anything more will be too much."

Willem Dafoe and Mark Ruffalo are also well-known members of the film cast. Dafoe plays the eccentric scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter, who performs experiments on Bella Baxter, while Ruffalo plays shady lawyer Duncan Wedderbum, who tries to show Bella Baxter the ways of their Victorian world.

The film also stars Ramy Youssef as Max McCandless, Jarod Carmichael as Harry Astley, Margaret Qualley as Felicity, Kathryn Hunter as Swiney and Christopher Abbott as Sir Aubrey de la Pole Blessington.

The film was shot in 2021, and after being shown at a number of film festivals around the world, it will finally be available to a wider audience after December 8 of this year .
