Nothing Phone (1) debuts today with a stock of only 100 units

Carl Pei, the former director and inventor of OnePlus, has opted to bank on surprise once more, announcing an initial sale of only 100 handsets, followed by a public auction. The largest issue, without a doubt, stems from the fact that the company has yet to release the final specifications of the Nothing Phone (1), which will not be confirmed until after this first online sale.

As a result, starting today and continuing until June 23, we will be able to find the first 100 pieces of this phone in an exclusive auction organized through the StockX website. If we prefer, we can always wait for its formal launch, which has now been scheduled for July 12 in accordance with what was previously announced.

We can, however, "not go blind" if we want to be among the first to obtain these phones. And it is that some international media have already had the opportunity to first-hand test the Nothing Phone (1), anticipating some of its key details such as the presence of a 6.55-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution, a Snapdragon 778G chipset with 5G modem, 8 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of internal storage.

However, some further information has been leaked, such as its two rear cameras, with 50 and 8-megapixel sensors, and a 32-megapixel front camera. Finally, the device will include a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging and wireless charging.
