NVIDIA Announces World's Fastest 500Hz Monitors
The ASUS ROG Swift 500 Hz will be the first model of NVIDIA's next generation of gaming displays, which will be introduced at Computex 2022. The most notable feature, as implied by the name, is its 500 Hz refresh rate, which is the greatest attained by the industry.
For some time now, the refresh rate has been regarded as one of the most important factors to consider when purchasing a monitor. And the higher its value, the better the user experience we will have in any task, particularly in the fastest and most competitive games.
This variable refresh rate is accomplished in PCs by the VESA organization using a technique called "adaptive sync" (Adaptive Sync). It is widely used in the industry and is supported by all monitor makers, as well as several television models.
You are well aware that NVIDIA employs proprietary G-Sync technology, which necessitates the payment of royalties as well as the usage of a hardware module put in the monitors. In exchange, it is referred to as "the best" in this section.
Its goal and fundamental function are identical to those of other technologies: to improve communication between the graphics card and the display screen by synchronizing the image update frequency.
This reduces stuttering or stuttering that causes flickering, flashing, or other abnormalities, improves image quality, increases responsiveness at nearly any frame rate, and gives a better gaming experience overall.
NVIDIA is touting G-Sync technology and the level jump that will result in a refresh rate as high as 500 Hz at Computex. The new ASUS display has been hailed as a model of the next generation.
It's a model for competitive games like CS: GO, Valorant, Overwatch, and Rainbow Six Siege. Install a 24-inch TN panel with a native 1080p resolution.
Considering these qualities, it is apparent that it is entirely committed to electronic sports and will not be utilized for any other computer purposes. NVIDIA has released a video demonstrating the capacity of that 500 Hz.
NVIDIA will integrate the G-SYNC Esports mode, the Reflex Analyzer, and the rest of the features found in its GeForce graphics cards. We do not yet know an availability date or price for the ASUS ROG Swift 500 Hz, the spearhead of NVIDIA's new G-Sync monitors.
