Slamming of Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook does not stop - Time magazine published a cover page that will go down in history
Social networks crashed on Monday when Facebook and its messenger stopped functioning. but also WhatsApp and Instagram, which are owned by Facebook. The shock on the Internet echoed all over the world, and the American magazine Time put the owner of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, on the front page, across whose face was written the question "Delete Facebook?", with options for confirmation and cancellation.
The Time not only mentioned the outage of Facebook and the story about data theft, but also the data presented by a former employee of that company, who claims that they are aware of the damage that Instagram inflicts on children's health but ignore it.

Five years ago, Roger McNamee began a mission to help Facebook change its culture, business model, and algorithms, writes Time.
"I was involved in the work of the company in its early days as a consultant and investor. Since then, like many others, I have pressured Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and chief operating officer Cheryl Sandberg to reform Facebook. I communicated with them privately. I advertised in public. I wrote for Time in 2019, persuading Facebook and Silicon Valley to adopt human-driven technology instead of addictive, dangerous algorithms. Nothing happened. The last three weeks have led to changes " he wrote.
Brave whistleblower Francis Haugen, as he says, transformed the conversation about technology reform and achieved more than McNamee and others achieved by investing years of effort.

"Documents forwarded to the Wall Street Journal confirmed that the damage caused by Facebook's business is not a coincidence, but an inevitable result of a dangerous design. In many cases, the documents show that Facebook decided to double its business, regardless of the fact that they were aware of the damage they were causing and the pressure for change," he added.
McNamee pointed out that it is clear that policymakers and the media have constantly underestimated the danger lurking on Facebook, believing rosy claims about the power of connecting around the world and trust that was not deserved.
He added that "Facebook will not fix itself".
