Official trailer for " Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire" is out!

Netflix released an official trailer for director Zack Snyder's "Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire". This is the first half of his epic new sci-fi project. The film is divided into two parts, with the first part "A Child of Fire" arriving on December 22, while the second part "The Scargiver" will arrive in April, just a few months later. The script is written by Zack Snyder, Kurt Johnstad and Shay Hatten, while the producers are Deborah Snyder, Eric Newman, Zack Snyder and Wesley Coller.

When a peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy finds itself threatened by the army of tyrannical ruling power, Kora, a mysterious foreigner living among the villagers, becomes their best hope for survival. Tasked with finding trained fighters to unite with her in an almost impossible resistance to Mother World, Kora gathers a small group of warriors—outsiders, rebels, peasants, and war orphans from different worlds who share a need for redemption and revenge. As the shadow of the empire descends on the most incredible of moons, a battle is fought for the fate of the galaxy, and a new army of heroes is born.

The focus of the story is Kora (Sofia Boutella), a young woman who becomes a central figure in the elimination of an evil intergalactic leader played by Ed Skrein. Other main roles include Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy), Djimon Hounsou (Captain Marvel), Cleopatra Coleman (The Last Man on Earth), Michiel Huisman (The Flight Attendant), Jena Malone (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire), Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride), Stuart Martin (Army of Thieves), Corey Stoll (Ant-Man), Bae Doona (Sense8), Alfonso Herrera (Ozark), Ingvar Eggert Sigurðsson (The Northman), Ray Fisher (Zack Snyder's Justice League), Fra Fee (Hawkeye), Staz Nair (Game of Thrones) and Anthony Hopkins. Most recently, Michiel Huisman (The Haunting of Hill House), Cary Elwes (Saw), Corey Stoll (The Strain) and Alfonso Herrera (The Exorcist) joined the cast.

The first part will focus on the mysterious Korra and her journey through the galaxy recruiting warriors. While major plot details are being kept under wraps. There are no heroes. Only the rebels.
