Prince William wrote a book on a typewriter and found himself the target of Twitter users: 'This hurts me'
As part of the announcement of the book, the Duke of Cambridge posted a short video on the official Twitter account of the royal family in which he's typing the introduction to the book, making some of the Twitter users laugh and others horrified.
Prince William, 39, decided to type his book on the global climate crisis on a famous typewriter, a machine used today only by true history buffs.
This way of writing, it seems, he chose because it is much better for the environment than using a computer.
The title of his book will read 'Earthshot: How to Save our Planet', and with it, he wants to warn of the climate crisis that threatens humanity.
As part of the announcement of the book, the Duke of Cambridge posted a short video on the official Twitter account of the royal family in which he typed the introduction of the book on an ancient typewriter.

What made many laugh was the fact that Prince William was typing with one finger on a typewriter.
- Sir, you have no idea how much your way of writing hurts me as a fan of typewriters - wrote one Twitter user.
- Why does he write with only one finger? There are more of them for a reason - another asked.
However, there were also positive comments, but also those who called out the duke because of other details of the improper use of the typewriter.
