Mads Mikkelsen has been crazy in love with the same woman for 30 years
The Dane with rough features, a steely look and an enigmatic demeanor won us over with many film roles that he masterfully portrayed.
The charismatic Mads Mikkelsen is an out-of-the-ordinary man who especially loves the time he spends in the family home.
His wife, Hanne Jacobsen (59), an actress, choreographer, and dancer, is also responsible for that, and just like her husband, Hanne focused her career on films.
They started dating in 1987, and when asked how they met, Mads told the New York Times: "I met her at an audition when I was dressed as a woman," he said.

She was 24 at the time, and he was 20, and although they were both in relationships with other people, they felt attracted to each other. They started dating and were in a relationship for more than a decade, and in 2000 they decided to get married.

Many women's magazines have declared him the sexiest man in the world, and although he jokingly reminded her of that, she does not remain indebted to him: "Well, you are married to the most attractive woman in the world," he recalled for the New York Times.
They live in Denmark but spend a lot of their free time in Spain. They have a daughter Viola (28) and a son Carl (24).
