Radeon Refresh 6950 XT: Already Advertised

There have long been whispers of a Radeon RDNA2 update. AMD has yet to make an announcement, but two overseas vendors are already advertising the rumored AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT, RX 6750 XT, and RX 6650 XT cards.

While AMD is still keeping a low profile on the potential Radeon RDNA2 upgrade, two overseas retailers claim that things could move quickly. It's been speculated for a while that RDNA2 will be updated.

The Radeon RX 6900 XT, 6700 XT, and 6600 XT graphics cards will be released on April 20th. The new maps will now be released on May 10th.

Recently, a Canadian vendor mentioned the speculated RX 6650 XT, RX 6750 XT, and RX 6950 XT cards with advertising banners. The banner also appears to validate an earlier leak by Videocardz colleagues, who revealed a reference design of the cards some time ago.

Following the Canadian advertisement, a refresh message surfaced at a French retailer. PlanetCommerce21, a French retailer, touted two ASUS graphics cards from AMD's newest series as "in stock" in its store. The trader claims that he sells his items at the lowest possible price.

However, the costs for the available RX 6650 XT and RX 6750 XT cards appear to be far more than projected. The cards are priced at 600 or 930 USD at the shop.

The refreshed cards are not reported to be alternate models of the RX 6900 XT, 6700 XT, or 6600 XT cards. According to rumors, AMD's board partners will prioritize the production of the enhanced RDNA2 models RX 6650 XT, 6750 XT, and 6950 XT.

As a result, outdated card models would be phased out and eventually eliminated from the market.
