Robbie Williams' life will always be an interesting topic, and we’ve explored lesser-known details about him
Robert Peter Williams, a 47-year-old known to the world as Robbie Williams, has been an icon of British and world pop culture for decades.
He gained worldwide fame as a member of the group Take That in which he was active from 1990 to 1995, and when he decided to go solo, he had to pay £ 1.5 million to terminate his contract and leave the group.
“I think I made a million or so in Take That, and then it cost me a million and a half to get out of the deal,” he said.
But the move he made was also more than good, as the contract he signed with EMI for £ 80 million is still one of the biggest music contracts ever signed.

As a teenager, he dropped out of school at age 16 which forced him to find a job to make a living. So he worked in a shop that sold windows.
Can you believe Robbie Williams never passed the driving test?! On one occasion, he stated that he was sorry that he did not pass, but also explained why. "The traffic in London is terrible and taxi is the best thing ever," he said.
