Recording that shocked fans: Britney called the lawyer in tears, father threatened to take her children

The media report that singer Britney Spears (39) once told her lawyer that her father Jamie Spears threatened to take away her children. She called her lawyer and told him that her father was threatening her, and all this will be shown in a new Netflix documentary about the singer, ‘Britney Vs Spears’.

It will be the first time that audio recordings will be released to the public, and it will touch on new details about Jamie’s conservatorship of his daughter. The documentary will be shown on September 28, the day before the scheduled court hearing.

In early September, the singer's father asked the Los Angeles court to terminate his conservatorship of his daughter, which had already lasted for 13 years. 

The singer reportedly told the lawyer about her sons, Sean and Jayden, in one of her 2009 voice messages.

"I called you earlier. I'm calling again because my father threatened to take my children away several times. I just want to make sure that everything will be fine during the process and that you take care of it" said Britney, who at that time had joint custody of the children with her ex-husband Kevin Federline. 

Kevin's lawyer later decided that it was best for Kevin to take responsibility for the children.

Britney got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Sam Asghari, in September .
