Proceeds from the auction will go to UNICEF…

The Oscar de la Renta House in collaboration with actress Sarah Jessica Parker was part of the charity initiative. The fashion house put up for auction a dress worn by the famous actress for the premiere of the film "And Just Like That" and all proceeds from the sale will go to UNICEF. The auction was announced through the Encore platform, which is located on the website of the fashion house, and the starting price for buying the dress was $ 5,000. The auction lasted until March 31, and the dress sold for $ 7,500.

The beautiful dress in which Sarah Jessica Parker appeared at the premiere of the reboot of the "SATC" series in New York, in December 2021, was created in the studio of the house of Oscar de la Renta. It is sewn from silk chiffon in gray with a hand-embroidered magnolia design, while the pink tulle skirt stands out from the inside. The dress is in excellent condition, as the house informs, and its size corresponds to the numbers XS and S.

It was a privilege to wear this dress at the premiere of "And Just Like That" last December, and I feel honored to be working with my friends from the house of Oscar de la Renta to sell it at auction via the Encore platform. All proceeds will be donated to UNICEF, an organization that I think we need to support now more than ever because of geopolitical conflicts and immediate and growing threats that threaten so many innocent children," said Sarah Jessica Parker.

Oscar de la Renta launched "Encore", its resale platform, in November 2021 and vintage creations from older collections can be found here. In fact, the house uses a platform to provide services to the community, encouraging resalers to donate to one of the charities they work with, such as Habitat for Humanity and World Central Kitchen, instead of taking the money.
