Jennifer Lopez has an older sister, Leslie, whom she rarely shows in public, who works as a music professor in the New York Bronx.
Famous Latino diva, 52-year-old Jennifer Lopez does not hide how important is family is in her life. She also revealed that she has a close relationship with her siblings, but she rarely shows one of them in public. Namely, while her younger sister, 50-year-old Lynda, appears more often on the red carpet and works as a famous journalist, her older sister Leslie prefers to stay out of the curious public and works as a music teacher at a school in the Bronx.
Leslie made an exception only when her daughter Brenda declared herself a transgender person. Those are information that Jennifer shared on the social network.
"This is Brendan, my sister Leslie's older child and he represented his school at the #globalyoungleadersconference in Washington. I can't be more proud of him, Brendan is a strong and true leader in the family. Your Aunt Jen loves you" she wrote in a statement which she shared on her Instagram profile.
Jennifer rarely posts their shared photos on social media, only on some special occasions, such as birthday celebrations or similar occasions, so many don’t know Leslie exists.
"Grateful to the sisters. I hope you spend the day at the table with loved ones," Lopez wrote on the occasion of last year's Thanksgiving on her Instagram profile alongside a photo of herself posing with Jennifer and Leslie.
In addition to Lynda and Leslie, Jennifer has two brothers, and they all appeared together on the Oprah Winfrey show back in 2002 and then admitted that they don’t really like to talk about Jennifer in public.
The siblings grew up in the Bronx with parents Guadalupe and David, and while Jennifer now owns properties across the United States, the rest of her family stayed to live in New York City, where she frequently visit them, especially during the holidays.
Recall, 2021 began with totally unexpected news: the return of “Bennifer“. They met during the filming of the movie “Gigli” (2003) in which both were protagonists and, quickly, they had a good relationship, but she was in a relationship at the time, so love arose a few months later.
The new couple, Jennifer and Ben are in their prime and they are even looking for a home in California to share and have space for all their children: JLO’s twins she had with Marc Anthony and the actor’s three children with Jennifer Garner. Today they are much more united than before and the artist revealed that she was reunited with a much more mature Ben Affleck.
“He is a very homey person. What he likes to do the most is to be at home, watch movies, ask his chef to cook something. He is so normal and down to earth,” said Katie Cherry, a young woman who was in a relationship with the actor in 2019 for a short time, adding that the actor loves spending time with his family.
This is one of the things Jennifer Lopez likes the most and one of the reasons she decided to give their love a second chance. For the Diva from the Bronx, the most important thing is her children, Maximilian and Emme, and she found the same tune in the protagonist of “Lost” (2014).
