The Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2 wireless headphones
Bowers & Wilkins has unveiled the Px7 S2, a new premium wireless headphone with active noise canceling.
These are the replacements for the existing PX7 model. The invention features a new premium design, which the company claims will provide outstanding comfort and active noise suppression.
Overall, they should have a thinner profile and be lighter, which will suit anyone who prefers tactile buttons for operation.
The newly developed 40mm transducers, which are angled inside the shell and have a reproduction axis perpendicular to the ear, serve as the foundation.
Bluetooth 5.0 is used for audio transmission, and aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX, AAC, and SBC codecs are supported.
As a result, the headphones are expected to offer 24-bit High-Res audio and bring the sound and listening experience closer to the 800 Series reference speakers.
Active noise suppression is handled via hybrid ANC, and there are a total of six microphones, four for ANC and two for phone calls.
The battery lasts 30 hours, charging takes 2 hours, and in the event of a complete discharge, there will be enough energy for seven hours of listening after 15 minutes.
The USB-C input, on the other hand, is utilized for charging as well as connecting a detachable cable with a 3.5 mm analog jack connector; direct connection and listening via USB-C are also available.
The Px7 S2 headphones will be available on June 29, 2022, with an official price of 429 dollars and three color options: black, blue, and gray.
