Actor Ben Stiller (56) admitted in an interview with Esquire that he reconciled with his lovely ex-wife and famous actress Christine Taylor (50). They were divorced and now they have decided that they are better together. Stiller pointed out that they are very happy about this decision.
The parents of Ella (19) and Quinlin (16) are enjoying this period, and the actor points out that he can thank the circumstances brought up by the world pandemic. “For all of us, this is really wonderful. It’s unexpected, that is one of the things that are the outcome of the pandemic” - said Ben. He revealed that during the lockdown, he moved back into their family home to be together in times of crisis, only to have the spark between the ex-spouses reawakened over time.
“A few years ago, I thought I didn't like riding horses. If I get a chance to ride a horse, I probably won't. Now I love horses! I think they are beautiful. I like to cuddle them. I like to watch people ride horses, I like to watch my children ride horses” - in an unusual way, the actor explained the change that happened to him. - "I just don't want to ride them. When you realize this, it saves you a lot of energy. So, yes, I think I have respect for how we are similar in some ways and different in other ways."
Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor met in 1999, on the set of “Heat Vision and Jack”. They quickly fell in love and they got married a year later. The couple surprised everyone in May 2017, when they announced their divorce.
"With great love and respect for each other, after 18 years together, we decided to separate" - it was written in the statement. "Our priority will continue to be raising our children, as dedicated parents and closest friends."
We are very happy to see them together again, and we hope this time they will live “happily ever after”.
