The first teaser for mysterious SF thriller "65" is out!

Sony Pictures released the first look at the sci-fi thriller "65", also known as "65: The End Is Only The Beginning". The teaser is very short and basically serves as an announcement for tomorrow's trailer. The film was already delayed last year, but for now, it is still announced that it will arrive in theaters on March 10, 2023. 

The film was directed and written by Scott Beck & Bryan Woods aka Beck/Woods (For Always, Her Summer, Spread, Nightlight, Haunt). It is a co-production of Columbia Pictures, Bron Creative, Raimi Productions and Beck/Woods. Producers are Sam Raimi, Zainab Azizi, Debbie Liebling and Beck/Woods. The composer of the theme music is Danny Elfman (Batman, Dick Tracy, Edward Scissorhands).

For now, we hardly know anything about the plot. An astronaut crashes on a mysterious planet only to discover he is not alone. But already the first teaser gives a hint of the 'unknown' monster in the cave. And from the title, it can be assumed that it is actually a dinosaur and that the planet could actually be the Earth 65 million years ago.

We're sure the synopsis is intentionally vague to foster an atmosphere of intrigue and mystery. But it should also be mentioned that the script has gone through significant revisions over the years since the project was launched. Back in 2020, the film was named as a horror thriller, with a plot involving an opiate addict who has a terrible accident, and the only survivor is a girl he has to work with in order to survive. This is something else entirely now, or so it seems. Anyway,  guess we'll finally know more about everything soon.

The main stars of this movie are Adam Driver (Star Wars films), Ariana Greenblatt (Love and Monsters), and Chloe Coleman (My Spy). We are sure that this is going to be a real success for this extremely good crew!
