THE ROYAL FAMILY IS PREPARING AN IMPORTANT EVENT FOR JULY 1: Another big day without Meghan Markle!
Meghan is not planning a trip to London, said a source close to the couple
If she had not died in a car accident, Princess Diana would have celebrated her 60th birthday on July 1. In honor of the late princess, the British royal family will mark the first day of July by placing a statue in one of the three gardens of Kensington Palace, the Sunken Garden, which was her favorite place.
This event will gather the British royal family, but also unite the brothers, Princes Harry and William, who will unveil the statue together. However, Prince Harry will not come accompanied by his wife Meghan Markle this time either. Although the American site Radar Online recently wrote that Meghan is planning a trip to London to support her husband at a family event, that claim has been rejected, and a source close to Harry and Meghan told the Daily Mirror:
"Meghan is not planning a trip. She gave birth recently and this time Harry will travel alone."
The Queen reportedly invited Harry to lunch at Windsor Castle, and courtier Richard Eden said:
"It's typically a generous gesture by Her Majesty, and lunch will be a good opportunity for them to talk."
In that case, it will be the first time since he and Meghan announced a year ago that they are leaving the Kingdom, that Harry will meet his grandmother, who is also the queen, in private.
