'The Witcher: Blood origin' debuts its first trailer

The second season of ' The Witcher ' is now available on Netflix. During the eight episodes we meet again with Geralt de Rivia ( Henry Cavill ), who is already in charge of his "surprise girl", Princess Cirilla ( Freya Allan ), who has to adapt to a new dynamic with the princess while she is discovering the power that she harbors within her. Once you've seen all eight chapters, don't abandon the ending credits of the eighth episode. A surprise awaits you at the end .

The streaming platform has cast as a post-credits scene the first trailer of 'The Witcher: Blood origin', the prequel to the series that features Michelle Yeoh, Laurence O ' Fuarain, and Sophia Brown as protagonists. This spin-off takes place 1,200 years before the events of 'The Witcher' in a world still populated only by elves.

The story centers on three of those elves: Scian (Michelle Yeoh), an expert swordswoman who is the last survivor of a nomadic tribe, Fjall (Laurence O'Fuarain), a warrior seeking revenge, and Éile (Sophia Brown), a warrior who drops everything to become a bard. In the series, we will see the creation of the first sorcerer and how the world changed with the Conjunction of the Spheres.

Expanding franchise

Netflix has not announced when we can see 'The Witcher: Blood Origin' but it will be next year. The franchise continues to expand on the streaming platform, which has already confirmed that the main series will have a third season (Henry Cavill told us that they will start working on it next year and he hopes that the filming will not take such a long time and that we would have to wait as we did for the second season). A new animated film and a series designed to bring the universe of 'The Witcher' to family audiences are also underway. We still don't know anything about these two projects.
