Emma Raducanu transformed from an anonymous girl to a celebrity after she won the US Open, and now she has also appeared at the Met Gala, where she was personally invited by event organizer Anna Wintour.
Young British tennis player Emma Raducanu became a world sensation when she won this year's US Open.
The 18-year-old, whom no one had heard of until recently because she was 150th in the WTA rankings before the tournament, defeated Canadian Leylah Fernandez in the finals, becoming the first tennis player to win the grand slam title after the qualifications and the youngest after Maria Sharapova, who won Wimbledon in 2004 at the age of 17. In addition to the title and trophy, winning the US Open brought her 2.5 million euros.
Since then, Emma has been in the spotlight, and she also appeared at this year's Met Gala, to which she was personally invited by the organizer of the fashion event, Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
Side by side with the world's biggest celebrities, the young tennis player looked stunning in a Channel striking black and white coordinated set in which she also showed off her tight abs.
The beautiful teenager shone without a lot of make-up and did not take a smile off her face as she posed for the gathered photographers.

Emma was born in Canada, and, interestingly, her father is Romanian and her mother is Chinese. She moved to the UK with her parents when she was two years old and grew up in the city of Bromley. She started training tennis when she was five years old, and as a child, she was involved in various other sports activities, including golf, motocross, skiing, horseback riding, and ballet. In addition to all that, she was an outstanding student, and in addition to English, she is also fluent in Mandarin.
