Designer Vera Wang recently celebrated her 73rd birthday, and her youthful appearance once again shocked the public.
One of the world's most famous fashion designers, Vera Wang, recently celebrated her 73rd birthday. And it can't be unnoticed that the designer looks "like a little girl" in the photos from the celebration. In a pink mini dress that revealed more than it concealed, the designer looked more like a teenager celebrating her birthday with her friends and less like a woman in her eighth decade.
For years, people are surprised by Vera's extremely youthful appearance, and she once joked about that. She stated that the secret is in quality sleep, avoiding the sun and - cocktails with vodka.

' I need 7 to 8 hours of sleep, and if I'm lucky and it's the weekend, then I sleep for 10 hours,' she once said. After that, her housekeeper brings her breakfast in bed, and the designer revealed some more examples from her menu.
'Usually, it's yogurt with fresh fruit or eggs with chicken sausage, and if it's Sunday I treat myself with smoked salmon on wholemeal bread and a bunch of lemons. After that, I lift some weights, not too heavy, and it takes me about five minutes,' she said. Lunch follows at 12:30, and Vera claims that she never skips it.
'I like sashimi with brown rice and vegetables, steamed broccoli with chicken and rice, artichoke salad or fish' she said. Vera drinks only water, but she honestly admitted that it was the most difficult for her to give up Diet Coke.

She pointed out that she strictly does not eat dinner after 19:30, and that she goes out to a restaurant for dinner five days a week, while on weekends she invites friends to dinner prepared by her housekeeper, which is mostly Chinese food.
Some jokingly claim that the secret of Vera's youthful appearance is that she got married quite late. She was 39 when she said 'I do' to the investor and entrepreneur Arthur Becker, but the marriage lasted from 1989 to 2012. The couple adopted two daughters during their marriage. And although the designer really looks younger than she is, especially on social networks, in some photos it is clear that she is not a woman in her thirties. Thus, it was once again proven that no one can escape the aging process.
