Adele: ' I was destroyed by the insults'

Famed Adele said that she was hit hard by the "brutal" reaction to her postponed shows in Las Vegas earlier this year which left her feeling like a "shell of a human". Namely, in January, the singer canceled her performances only 24 hours before the premiere, explaining to her fans that the show was not ready. In an interview with the BBC, Adele said that the postponement of her announced three-month engagement in Las Vegas was "devastating" for her, but she stood by her opinion. So on Friday, she announced to her fans that the entire show will be rearranged and ready very, very soon.

In a radio interview, the 34-year-old musician emphasized: ' I definitely felt everyone's disappointment and I was devastated and scared because I let them all down. I thought I could pull myself together and make it all work, but I couldn't and I stuck to my decision. I don't just want to do a show because I have to or because people will be let down or because we'll lose a bunch of money. It's just that the show wasn't good enough.'

The musician, who released her fourth album last November, faced a barrage of criticism online after she posted a heartbreaking Instagram video at the last minute revealing that her planned 24 concerts at Caesar's Palace would not go ahead as planned.

By the way, Adele was supposed to earn as much as 685 thousand dollars per night at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, and the planned 24 spectacular concerts were supposed to be held from January to April. Considering that she canceled the shows just 24 hours before the first show, many fans from all over the world have already arrived in Las Vegas eagerly anticipating to see Adele on stage. Fans paid for tickets between 85 and up to 12 thousand dollars, and even 30 thousand on the black market. After the postponement of the performance, Adele earned the unflattering title of one of the most unreliable musicians in the world.
