'Harper is not on social media, so we don't have to worry about her appearance being criticized yet,' Victoria, who has four children with husband David Beckham, told Vogue Australia in a recent interview. 'But when I see how cruel people can be, yes, it really worries me.'

The fashion designer, 48, said she believes she will be able to make sure Harper surrounds herself with good people and builds strong self-esteem that will help her ignore the derogatory comments.
'She's at that age where her body is starting to change, but it's about us communicating a lot as a family and her surrounding herself with dear friends,' she said, adding: 'But it's quite scary, I can't lie.'
Victoria also explained that her only daughter is in no rush to grow up and enjoys dressing for her age.
'She is not one of those children who go out with make-up and a short top,' said the former singer. 'She actually said to me recently: 'Mum, I saw some pictures of you when you were in the Spice Girls and your skirts were unacceptable. They were too short.' Then David also supported her: 'Absolutely, Harper! They really, really did.' And she was actually quite appalled at how short my skirts were.'
'I said: 'Are you never going to wear skirts like that?' She said, 'Absolutely not.' We'll see.' Victoria added.
Victoria and former soccer star David Beckham (47), in addition to their youngest daughter Harper, also have three sons, Brooklyn (23), Romeo (19) and Cruz (17).
