The biggest fails of this year's Met Gala

The list of the worst dressed at the Met Gala in 2022 brings us surprising names because they are usually on the best lists.

The Met Gala was held last night in New York, a traditional gathering that is considered the most glamorous fashion event on the planet and gathers the most important names from the world of entertainment, fashion, business, sports, and politics.

The organizer of the gala evening, which is held at the Metropolitan Museum in New York, is the fashion magazine Vogue, and every year the Met Gala has a theme in accordance with which the guests dress. This year, the theme was Gilded Glamor, i.e. the American "gilded age", primarily in the context of prosperity and success, in the sign of the opening of the new exhibition "In America: An Anthology of Fashion".

As we saw on the red carpet, many followed this topic perfectly, some missed it, and there were many who simply missed even the opportunity - as if they had forgotten where they were coming from!

The famous actress and face of the Gucci fashion house Dakota Johnson appeared at the Met Gala in creation with the signature of this brand. It is a transparent jumpsuit with black embroidery in the shape of flowers, which is completely close to the body, and it might have been more noticeable if she had not worn it under a large plush coat that reminded many of a bathrobe.

Bella and Gigi Hadid are undoubtedly on the list of beauties from whom more was expected, but Bella managed to avoid the list of the biggest disasters, while Gigi still found herself on it. The model wore a custom-made jumpsuit with a Versace corset, a leather model that was completely close to the body. Gigi also had high boots of identical burgundy shades, and that might have resonated better if she hadn't worn an oversized and quilted jacket with a barge.

Everyone was excitedly waiting to see one of the most famous pregnant women on the red carpet, the star of the "Game of Thrones" series, Sophie Turner, who arrived at the event in the company of her husband and famous singer Joe Jonas. For that, she chose a dress by the fashion house Louis Vuitton, from the resort collection for 2016, a black model with long sleeves that falls next to the body to the floor. It is decorated with tiny rivets and silver details, and the complete taste is extremely bad, especially when combined with Sophie's new hairstyle. To make matters worse, she also wore slippers from the mentioned house, which can definitely be worn more adequately than on the red carpet...

At the top of the list of those who disappointed the most was the Russian model Irina Shayk, who arrived in front of the Metropolitan dressed in black leather from head to toe.

The creative director of the Burberry fashion house, Riccardo Tisci, prepared magnificent creations for Kate Moss and her daughter Lila, while he prepared a completely unexpected combination for his best friend Irina.

The beautiful Russian woman was wearing black pants, a black jacket, a vest, a shirt, a tie, a belt, black leather boots, and a silver ring-shaped ornament, identical to her earrings, hung from the pants. Not only did Irina not present the elegant and feminine style for which she is known, but she did not look overly in the mood to take photos, so she was among the least noticed at the Met Gala!
