WATCH: An American comedy 'Caffeine'

"Caffeine" is an independent comedy from 2006 created under the watchful eye of American director John Cosgrove. We are sure that you will enjoy it even if you are not a die-hard fan of the irresistible black drink that is life. Black Cat Cafe is an eccentric and dangerously charming London cafe where both, loyal guests and cafe employees, spend their time every day, and whose lives are not quite as ordinary or monotonous as it might seem at first glance, but rather resemble lives like characters from Spanish telenovelas.

That Black Cat Caffe is a real little powder keg that is just waiting for its famous 5 minutes. That will become quite clear one fateful day, which was preceded by late-night partying that will make the employees, not in the best shape.

After the manager Rachel (Marsha Thomason) fires her boyfriend, but also the chef, Charlie (Callum Blue), the burden of running the cafe will fall on the backs of only three people: Tom (Mark Pellegrino) who tries his best to become a new chef, Dylan (Breckin Meyer) who is (also unsuccessfully) trying to become a writer and Vanessa (Mena Suvari) who, on the other hand, is trying to keep her crazy grandmother (Roz Witt) well hidden in one of the corners of the cafe. When we add to a situation like this special guest like the literature lover Gloria (Sonya Walger), whose boyfriend discovered that she acted in several adult films, Mike (Andrew Lee Potts), who is trying to get over his ex while suffering from who knows how many phobias or, on the other hand, John (Andrew Ableson) who likes to "show off" to young girls, it will become quite clear that there is no way to be bored in the Black Cat Cafe.

Excellently acted, seductively relaxing and packed with proven good British humor, "Caffeine" is one of those films you should never miss.
