Will There Be A Season 2 Of And Just Like That?

Just when you thought it was safe to re-join the Peloton, a second season of the critically panned "And Just Like That" appears to be on the way.

After Page Six revealed last week that the HBO Max "Sex and the City" revival's chances of getting renewed were "strong," Sarah Jessica Parker has said she's spoken with executive producer Michael Patrick King about beginning Season 2.
Parker, 56, told on Tuesday that Michael and she spoke two weeks ago, and she asked when they are going to talk about that?

Casey Bloys, HBO Max's chief content officer, told media that he has been ecstatic with audience statistics, hinting that the streaming service would love to contribute another season of the show.

Bloys said that in terms of viewership, it's been phenomenal. He couldn't be happier with how it is doing in terms of reception.

While storyline specifics for a second season have yet to be revealed, Kim Cattrall's role as sex-positive publicist Samantha Jones is unlikely to be reprised.

King told Variety he’s ruled out her return — even for a brief cameo — bluntly stating he had no realistic expectation of Kim Cattrall ever appearing again.

Cattrall hasn't spoken much about "And Just Like That," although she has liked a few caustic tweets about it.

King told Variety that the door wasn't open for Cattrall, because she is said what she had said.

Meanwhile, the executive producer spoke kindly of actor Willie Garson, who died during filming the first season of the revival at the age of 57.
Garson played spunky talent agent Stanford Blatch in the first "Sex and the City" series and appeared in the first three episodes of "AJLT" before his unexpected death.

According to Variety, King had planned for Garson to appear in all ten episodes of "AJLT," taking on a prominent role in the series.
King said that before he knew that Willie was sick, Stanford was going to have a midlife crisis.

Stanford was written out of the series after Garson's unexpected death, with the excuse that he had gone to Tokyo to manage a TikTok star.
