Xiaomi Box 4S Max, Xiaomi's best Smart TV Box is already 8K
Surprisingly, Xiaomi has just announced the arrival of a new generation of its Smart TV Box, with the announcement of the Xiaomi Box 4S Max, a compact device that we can connect to the television to run games, applications, or transmit music or videos, now updated to support content in 8K resolution.
With a design that is nearly identical to that of the Xiaomi Box S, we once again have a small square box with gently rounded sides and a beautiful black finish that makes its 95 x 95 x 16 millimeters even more unobtrusive. within our living room
The primary upgrades are on the inside, with the addition of an Amlogic S905X3 processor (4 x Cortex-A55 at 1.91 GHz and Mali-G31 MP2 GPU), 4GB RAM, and 64GB of internal storage.
All of this is complemented by an HDMI 2.1 output, which supports 4K at 60 frames per second with HDR and up to 8K content, as well as a USB-A 3.2 input and a 3.5-millimeter jack audio output. A connectivity area that includes support for a dual-band WiFi network and Bluetooth, allowing us to connect virtually any modern device.
The Xiaomi Box 4S Max, on the other hand, includes certain frills like Dolby Audio and DTS audio technology, as well as the existence of a Bluetooth controller, which will give us more freedom of control by not needing us to point directly at the receiver to control it.
The Xiaomi Box 4S Max has already been released at a reasonably controlled pricing of only 69.99 dollars, much below current Apple TV costs, with an initial launch that will be limited entirely to Chinese territory. The 64GB version costs three times as much as the 4K version.
Unfortunately, Xiaomi has not yet commented on the device's likely release in other international markets, including our own. That being said, much as with its predecessor, and considering the high demand for this type of home accessory, it would not be strange to hear from the company in the following months.
