A brand new drama series 'Robin Hood' is coming!
The authentic and exciting drama series with ten one-hour episodes will present the most realistic version of Robin Hood.
Abacus Media Rights (AMR), an Amcomri Entertainment company, has launched a brand new high-end drama series " Robin Hood " created by Jonathan English (Ironclad) with John Glenn (Seal Team) as executive producer. "Robin Hood" series will be filmed at the PFI studio in Belgrade and at locations throughout Serbia. The series will be produced by English/Glenn Media and Balkanic Media, and the creation of that television format is financed by Head Gear, led by Phil Hunt, with the support of the incentive program of the Ministry of Culture of Serbia.
The authentic and exciting drama series with ten one-hour episodes will present the most realistic version of Robin Hood to date, set against the backdrop of a cruel, corrupt and mysterious medieval land.

It is believed that Robin was born about 100 years after Anglo-Saxon England was conquered by the Normans. They brought with them Christianity, stone castles and taxes. It was a mythical period in history when England was covered with forest and the old pagan beliefs were slain by the power of the Norman sword. In that very dark and dangerous moment in history, the enigmatic Robin and his wild outlaws were medieval vigilantes fighting against oppression.
Jonathan Ford, CEO of AMR notes that people all over the world have heard of Robin Hood.'There have been many highly successful versions of the English hero, but none have recreated the ruthless, tyrannical atmosphere of the time. This is a universal story of survival, conflict and love with spectacular action sequences that will appeal strongly to audiences worldwide,' said Ford.
Jonathan English, the creator of the series, emphasizes the desire to show the world the real Robin Hood. 'I have researched the original ballads and records that still exist from the 12th and 13th centuries. They reveal a far more compelling and dangerous figure, a Robin who is rugged, authentic and deeply rooted in history. This is a 'Viking' version of Robin Hood or Peaky Blinders' he stated.
