Alejandra Espinoza: 15 years of great career

The first winner of Nuestra Belleza Latina is… Alejandra Espinoza. In 2007, Alejandra Espinoza's life took a 180-degree turn after being crowned the first Nuestra Belleza Latina. Little could she have imagined then that inexperienced young woman would become one of the most beloved and successful faces on Hispanic television.

In 2007, after winning a contract with the Univision network she joined the show El Gordo y la Flaca / The fat man and the skinny woman as a correspondent and guest co-host. In February 2008, Espinoza became a model and co-presenter on Univision's hit show Sabado Gigante / Giant Saturday starring Don Francisco. In July 2014, after 6 years of working at Sabado Gigante and appearing in 333 weekly shows, she left the show to pursue other projects in Los Angeles.

Today, 15 years later, the charismatic Mexican host and actress is celebrating her first fifteen years of an unstoppable career with which she continues to reap triumphs. The most recent was her leading role in the TelevisaUnivision melodrama Corazon Guerrero / Daring Heart, a story that has positioned itself in the public's taste in Mexico since its premiere.

Precisely, coinciding with the anniversary of the beginning of her career, Espinoza has received the best news about the melodrama that she stars in, along with the Mexican actor Gonzalo Garcia Vivanco. One that couldn't have her happier and more excited.

The telenovela, which is broadcast in Mexico from Monday to Friday at 4:30 p.m. on Las Estrellas, recorded its highest audience data to date on Friday, July 29, after averaging 2.6 million viewers for the first time, according to data from Nielsen IBOPE Mexico.

The melodrama thus surpassed its most direct competitor by 309% and almost became the most watched telenovela in Mexico. That place went to  Vencer la ausencia / Overcoming loss, which recorded only 200 thousand more viewers than Corazon Guerrero / Daring Heart.

"2.6 million thanks. These numbers deserve a feed post," the presenter was quick to share excitedly on Monday through her Instagram account. As expected, the congratulatory messages from her followers were immediate. "Bravo Ale" or "Very deserved", can be read among the comments he received.
