Angelina Jolie (46) always puts her children first. She experienced the magic of motherhood when she adopted her first daughter Zahara.
The actress has been avoiding the spotlight lately, except in case when is the promotion of some new movies. This time paparazzi filmed her while she was shopping. She was in the company of her daughter Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt (17) who stood out with her distinctive hairstyle. Namely, she had long braids dyed blue.
As always when she was filmed with the kids, Angelina shone as they talked and walked from the store to the car. By the way, Jolie experienced motherhood for the first time with her daughter Zahara. She was born on January 8, 2005, in Ethiopia, and the actress adopted her when she was a six-month-old baby.
Her biological mother Mentewab Dawit Lebiso discovered in 2017 that she was raped. After that, she revealed she was pregnant. Sadly, she could not afford Zahara's upbringing financially and psychologically, so she chose to give her for adoption. Zahara was adopted by Angelina. She pointed out that she is grateful to the actress for being the real mother to her biological daughter and that she does not want to affect her life but would just like to remember that she has a family in Ethiopia.
Jolie has repeatedly said she wants her children to know their cultural heritage, and in 2017 she visited Zahara’s homeland on the anniversary of her adoption so it was believed they had met Mentewab. The actress' daughter has appeared in several films, including 2014's 'Maleficent', and has lent her voice in the cartoon 'Kung Fu Panda 3'.According to Zahara, Angelina named a humanitarian program in Ethiopia dedicated to curing people of tuberculosis.
