Be able to spot five types of toxic friends that are not good for you

1. THE "PERFECT" FRIEND

The one who is never guilty of anything, even when they really are. But that’s why they never miss an opportunity to put all the blame on you and explain to you along the way why and how you need to change. They, of course, don't have to change because they're perfect.

2. A FRIEND WHO DOESN'T RESPECT YOUR TIME OR AGREEMENT

We all have at least one person in their life who, for example, is chronically late without an apology or simply does not honor an agreement without any explanation. Day in and day out, year in and year out, you subordinate your time to that person and their random schedule, instead of standing up for yourself.

3. A FRIEND WHO DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS

Me, me and just me. Over coffee, they will first talk about themself for an hour before they even remember asking you how you are doing, but they won't give you much time for the answer because they still have to talk a little more about themself.

4. A FRIEND WHO APPEARS ONLY WHEN THEY NEED YOU

When they need help or a shoulder to cry on, you are always there for them no matter what, but when you need the same, they are never there. They always seem to be too busy, have a hundred commitments and just can’t set aside even half an hour for a chat with you. You deserve better.

5. A FRIEND WHO BETRAYS YOUR TRUST

True friends are those people to whom we can truly tell everything without any hesitation, knowing that they will keep it to themselves when we ask them for discretion. We are all human beings and of course, sometimes we tell something that was supposed to remain a secret, but when someone systematically shares all your most intimate stories with others - then it’s the person you don’t need in your life.
