If you want to lose weight in a short time and cleanse the body of toxins, maybe this diet is what you need. Summer has already arrived, and many members of the fairer sex are looking for the fastest and most efficient diet in order to regain their slim figure as soon as possible and 'jump in' to bathing suits without complexes.

Although experts and nutritionists are not proponents of fast and rigorous diets, if you are otherwise healthy, you can sometimes undergo rapid weight loss. Therefore, it is not recommended to keep this diet for more than seven days, and those who have tried it claim that they can wear fewer jeans after that period.

Carbohydrates are strictly forbidden in this diet, so if you are one of those who cannot live without them, then it is best to skip this diet. The American diet has been tried by women around the world, and the results are visible after a few days.

The following foods are not allowed: bread, potato flour, rice, lentils, beans, peas, bread crumbs, breaded meat, pasta, peanuts, almonds, hazelnuts, hot dogs, milk, butter, sour or sweet cream, yogurt, kefir, various dairy and fruit puddings, margarine, whipped cream, no kind of cake, sugar, chocolate, various sweet or savory snacks, ice cream, no cheese in this diet and any fruit.

It is allowed to eat:  beef, chicken, veal, pork, lamb, sea fish, freshwater fish and all kinds of canned fish, fresh lettuce, egg salad, fresh or roasted peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh or sauerkraut, beets, salad of seafood, onion salad, green and red cabbage, spinach, cauliflower, chard, asparagus, artichokes, eggplant, carrots, parsley, celery, beets and broccoli.

You can eat all salads with oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Also, you can use coffee, and sugar-free teas, and it is recommended that you take vitamins C and D, as well as calcium, magnesium and zinc.
