Best budget hotels in Paris

The category with the most hotels is three-star hotels, which are usually small or private hotels or small chains. We have compiled a list of five affordable hotels in different neighborhoods near the main tourist attractions, where overnight prices range from $ 90 to $ 180.

Hotel Des Grandes Ecole

Hotel Des Grandes Ecole is a wonderful, peaceful oasis in the middle of Paris in the Latin Quarter. The hotel is reminiscent of a country hotel in Provence, and the rooms are decorated with floral wallpaper, sumptuous carpets, wooden floors, and paintings. Some of the rooms located on the ground floor also have direct access to the garden.

In the warmer months, you can have breakfast or bring your own food to the parasol tables in the garden area. Underground parking is available. Hotel Des Grandes Ecole is within walking distance of many attractions on the left bank of the Seine, including Luxembourg Park, the Pantheon, and Notre Dame Cathedral, and is close to two Metro stations. The hotel has free Wi-Fi, but there is no TV in the rooms.

Generator Paris

If you want a modern and fun atmosphere, Generator Paris is like a top-notch or designer hostel. The hotel is located near the Canal Saint-Martin, in a district that has a diverse selection of affordable restaurants, cafés, and bars and lively street life around the canal.

In addition to common rooms with other guests, Generator Paris offers private, modernly designed rooms with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and showers, and several rooms have private balconies. There is a 24-hour front desk, as well as a laundry room, a café, and a bar.

Hotel Jeanne D'Arc

This gem has long been a favorite because of its cheap and large rooms. The hotel is located on a quiet side street in the historic Marais district. The rooms have been recently refurbished, and are now in a modern style with wallpaper and interesting upholstery. There are different ones, from single to family rooms. Family apartments offer two rooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, which is great if you are traveling with children.

The cozy breakfast room has windows that let in plenty of natural daylight. A continental breakfast is served here. Place des Vosges, the oldest square in Paris, Rue de Rosiers, a Jewish street full of delicacies and excellent falafels, as well as the Carnavalet Museum, interesting to lovers of Parisian history, are not far from here.

Hotel Ibis Paris Bastille Opera

Ibis is a reliable chain of budget hotels throughout France that offers clean, modern rooms. The Ibis Paris Bastille Opera is located in a quiet side street just minutes from Place de la Bastille and the Mare district. Rooms include bathrooms with bathtubs, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and double beds. Pets are allowed in the hotel.

For a fee, the hotel offers the possibility to enter the rooms from 9 am and check out from the hotel until 4 pm. The hotel is part of the international Accor chain, which brings together a number of hotel brands and offers a points collection and award program. At the nearby station, Bastille, there are three metro lines that can take you to almost all parts of Paris.

Hotel Montmartre Mon Amour

For many, Paris is the romantic capital of the world and is adorned with the nickname City of Love, this hotel is perfect for celebrating your love. Hotel Montmartre Mon Amour offers you accommodation in modern rooms, with a significant presence of red in the decor and interesting photographs on the walls from the 1950s. There is also a buffet breakfast serving heart-shaped waffles, fresh pastries, fresh fruit and juices, coffee and tea, and French cheeses.

The hotel is close to the famous bohemian Montmartre district, 425 meters above Paris, with stunning city views. There are also the Basilica of Sacre Coeur and Place du Tertre, a square full of artists painting in front of you.
