Billie Eilish has a new hairstyle and brings a whole new concert experience
Joining forces with award-winning filmmakers, Billie presents her music in a different format
'Voice of the Generation' is an attribute that often describes the singer who debuted with the song 'Ocean Eyes' as a fourteen-year-old, and since then she has won first places in the global charts and countless awards. Late last month she released a new album 'Happier Than Ever' for which she replaced her previous look recognizable by black and green hair and 'baggy' clothes replaced by more neutral shades of clothes and a platinum-colored hairstyle, which she recently shortened to the length of a very popular bob.
A touch of old Hollywood present in her new image is also felt in the concert film 'Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter To Los Angeles', with which she will present her current album worldwide on September 3 via Disney +.
In it, a concert featuring Billie and her brother Finneas, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and a children's choir, intertwines with animated segments in which Billie takes us to the iconic places of her native Los Angeles. The concert film was directed by no more and no less than Robert Rodriguez, known for numerous films, including ‘Desperado’ and ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’, and the animation is credited to Oscar-winner Patrick Osborne.
To get a glimpse of what we can expect from this innovative blend of music, film, and animation, which Billie calls a ‘dream come true’, check out the trailer:
