Christopher Nolan's "Oppenheimer" got the first teaser

The first teaser for the biographical film Oppenheimer about the main creator of the atomic bomb, Robert Oppenheimer, has been released. The famous American physicist is played by Cillian Murphy, and the film also stars many other famous actors, such as Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, and Rami Malek.

"The world is changing. This is your moment," says Emily Blunt in the role of Katherine, Robert's wife, at the beginning of the teaser. We get a brief glimpse of Murphy as Oppenheimer and scenes of fire and other chemical processes associated with nuclear energy. Everything looks very intense and unusual, which tells us that the director and screenwriter of the film, Christopher Nolan, decided to make a completely original film once again, as he only knows how.

For Cillian Murphy, who plays the title character, this is the first leading role in a Christopher Nolan film, although the two have already collaborated five times. About his new prestigious role, the Irish actor said: “I read a lot to prepare for this role. I am interested in Robert Oppenheimer and what the invention of the atomic bomb can do to an individual. As for the actual details of her creation, it's not really for me. I don't have the intellectual capacity to understand it, but the people who worked on creating the atomic bomb are really fascinating."

Oppenheimer will have its premiere in a little less than a year, on July 21, 2023. We have no doubt that the wait will be worth it.

Murphy, who is 45, doesn't have a tumultuous personal life, or at least not publicly. He is not prone to arguments or sharp political statements. "Cillian is not silly," said actor Sam Neill about him, "He doesn't throw his life away. He is not scattered. He is extremely hardworking and extremely good at what he does."

I really don't go out much and people are so disappointed when they meet me. I'm always happy to chat, but what I don't like is when people sneakily take photos. That's so fucking weird. I sat down and people started filming me. I don't mean to sound ungrateful, that's not what I'm trying to say. I'm very happy and privileged with all that, but I think that having cameras everywhere is something we have to solve” - says Cillian and adds with a smile:

Or maybe I'm just old!
