Actress Courteney Cox, widely known for her role as Monica in the Friends series, has already astonished fans with her appearance on multiple occasions. They frequently commented on how her face has become nearly unrecognizable as a result of beauty operations. The actress has now spoken to The Sunday Times Style about her appearance and cosmetic enhancements. She claims she was seeking a way to stay youthful, but she regretted it since the treatments on her left a mark and she thought she was strange.
"I used to believe that I was maturing and becoming older. For years, I've been attempting to recreate that youth. I didn't understand that injections made me appear pretty abnormal and that I was doing things to my face that I wouldn't do today "She stated.
She claims she only understood what she had done when people close to her began remarking on her looks.
"The day you realize what your friends are talking about. Because people have been talking about me, I think. But there came a time when I said I had to stop and this is crazy," says the actress, who has decided to stop the procedures. She wants to try more natural methods for a more beautiful look.
She said that the critique is intense but she doesn't know if it is more intense than what she put on herself.
Despite how "crazy" the thought of approaching 60 may appear, the actress admitted that she feels more grounded today and is balancing her age. "Oh my God, it's so difficult to hear or say." I can't believe. I don't think there's anything wrong with reaching 60; I simply can't believe it. 'The time flew by.' confessed Cox.
She used to be one of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood, especially in the 90s. However, the actress overdid it with plastic surgery trying to stop the time and years to come.
She recently appeared on ‘The Graham Norton Show’, where she spoke about her new series ‘Shining Veil’, but attention was drawn to her unrecognizable look. Viewers did not miss the fact that Courteney struggled to make even the most basic grimaces, so at times it was difficult to watch her speak.
‘Courteney Cox looks like she suffered a terrible accident during plastic surgery and has spent the last 20 years on the operating table trying in vain to fix it,’ is one of the comments. Many also agree that Cox looked uncomfortable on the show as if she didn’t want to be there.
