Did you watch Netflix series "Resident Evil" ?

Netflix released its new tv series "Resident Evil" in May last year. The writer, executive producer and showrunner is Andrew Dabb (Supernatural). Eight episodes of the series are also written and produced by Mary Leah Sutton. The first episode directed by Bronwen Hughes (The Walking Dead) is titled Welcome to New Racoon City. She introduces us to Jade, who is haunted by her past. She has a husband and a child, but she is obsessed with the idea that she can somehow make things right.

The series differs from the video game as it takes place in two timelines. The first of them is set in the present day and follows 14-year-old sisters Jade and Billie Wesker who move to New Raccoon City, where they realize that their father may be hiding dark secrets that could destroy the world. The second timeline takes place 14 years in the future. Only 15 million healthy people remain, with more than 6 billion animals and humans infected with the T-virus. We follow an adult Jade, who is just trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world.

The year is 2036, 14 years after a deadly virus caused a global apocalypse. Jade Wesker is fighting for survival in a world overrun by bloodthirsty infected and insane creatures. In this absolute carnage, Jade is haunted by her past in New Raccoon City, with her father's creepy connections to the Umbrella Corporation, but mostly what happened to her sister Billie.

The photos gave us a better look at both Resident Evil timelines, revealing how a grown-up Jade must fight off hordes of zombies. Arj, Jade's husband, is also in the photos. And the photos also reveal two terrified young sisters trying to run away and hide. One of the photos reveals a view of Albert Wesker and Evelyn Marcus, daughter of Umbrella founder and virologist James Marcus. She is a character that does not exist in a video game.

The main stars are Lance Reddick (Fringe), Ella Balinska (Charlie’s Angels), Adeline Rudolph (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Tamara Smart (A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting), Siena Agudong (No Good Nick), Paola Nuñez (Bad Boys for Life), Ahad Raza Mir, Connor Gossatti and Turlough Convery.

The Resident Evil series arrived on Netflix on July 14 last year but you can find it online and watch it. Enjoy.
