A picturesque country to which you will always return, no matter which corner of the world you go to. Racing with rickshaws, cows, bicycles, and cars on the streets of Kathmandu will be a kind of adventure as you wander among the most authentic and beautiful temples in Central Asia.
Due to its specific position (between Tibet and India), Nepal is a meeting place for various variants of culture and religious beliefs, but also a place of perfect harmony. The historic cities of Kathmandu hide secrets kept for centuries while temples invite all believers to access them.
We meet Buddhism in the birthplace of Gautama Buddha where we visit the most famous Buddhist stupas and pagodas - Boudha Stupa, a place of pilgrimage for Buddhists around the world who worship this magnificent white and gold structure surrounded by hundreds of prayer flags and large, blue, Buddha eyes that follow you everywhere.
We inhale the characteristic smell of lamps and candles made of strong butter in a Tibetan monastery and move like all Buddhists, clockwise (from left to right). We also feel peace and tranquility when visiting the Temple of the Monkey, which is located above Kathmandu with a fantastic view of the entire city and the valley where you have the impression that the whole of Nepal is in the palm of your hand.
We open our minds to new knowledge by visiting the most famous posthumous temple Pashupatinath, in the country located on the holy river Bagmati, the counterpart of the Ganges in India. This holy place for Hindus is also a place of pilgrimage for religious ascetics - Saddhu who have decided to live without bodily pleasures in order to achieve nirvana. These people, living saints, with colorful features on the body and a sweet smile will be there to give you blessing and happiness. In Nepal, you will have a unique opportunity to see the only living goddess in the world - Kumari, located in Kathmandu, but also to admire the architecture of the city of Bhaktapur while tasting the local dish momo or drinking Mango Lassi.
