Chuck Norris' great love for his wife

The legendary Chuck Norris is celebrating his 82nd birthday today.

Chuck Norris (82) had no idea that he would become an actor, and even less that he would be a legend and one of the most popular personalities in the whole world. However, his love for martial arts took him on this unexpected path.

During the 1950s and 1960s, while serving his military service, he began to study martial arts. After completing his military service, he not only became a karate champion but also opened a number of karate studios in which he worked as a coach to many celebrities. It was those connections with celebrities that inspired him to try his hand at acting. His friendship with the legendary Bruce Lee resulted in his appearance in the movie "Enter the Dragon".

After the first film, new roles followed and the road to fame was open to him. During the 70's and 80's, he became one of the biggest action stars on the big screen, but the role that marked his life followed twenty years later. It's about Walker, a Texas Ranger. The series of the same name was broadcast for eight years and turned into a cult phenomenon.

Chuck Norris is no longer seen in public.

Almost 10 years have passed since his last film role, and he has a good reason for his absence from the movie screen.

Namely, in 2017, his wife Gena fell ill with a mysterious disease, which turned out to be rheumatoid arthritis. Due to the doctor's mistake, everything got complicated. Gene began to feel pain in the joints, weakness, pain in the ribs and trembling of the whole body. She lost 15 kilograms and had to eat baby food because she swallowed hard.

Gene finally recovered at a clinic in Nevada, but her husband still left Hollywood to take care of her. A lawsuit was filed against the doctor, but they still dropped the trial in 2020.

Chuck Norris has changed a lot, so he is no longer like that muscular hero we remember. Given that he celebrated his 82nd birthday, that is completely understandable.
