Dr. Dre recently admitted that he hopes his divorce will be ‘classic and fair’. But despite intentions for a friendly divorce, the rapper was forced to cut off all communication with his ex-wife after she allegedly falsely accused him of abusing her.
According to a statement given in court by Dre, he told his ex-wife that he ‘does not want everything to turn into an expensive fight’, but stated a few days later in legal documents that Nicole had falsely accused him of abuse during their marriage.

The couple has not had contact since then, except in early January, when Nicole volunteered to visit her ex-husband at the hospital after suffering a stroke.
