EA: FIFA is going down in history

The shutdown of the FIFA game published by EA Sports and the disagreement between the two giants could be read on the Internet for almost a year, and now everything is official - EA is shutting down the FIFA game, and FIFA is withdrawing from projects with this American company.

The news comes just after the EA Sports team announced that it will enable crossplay in the FIFA 22 game after years and years of waiting for us to play football interconnected on multiple platforms.

However, according to the EA Sports announcement, although FIFA is withdrawing from a project worth tens of billions of dollars and one of the most popular sports games ever, there will probably be no big changes.

However, the American publisher of games has announced a new name for the football simulation, which the game will carry from the 2023 season - EA Sports FC.

In this regard, they wrote on the EA Sports blog: " Everything you love in our games will be part of EA Sports FC - the same great experiences, regimes, leagues, tournaments, clubs, and athletes will be there ."

According to the same announcement, Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Pro Clubs, and Volta Football will also be part of the new game, as well as "a unique licensing portfolio with more than 19,000+ players, 700+ teams, 100+ stadiums and 30 leagues in which we have invested for decades. That includes exclusive partnerships with the Premier League, LaLiga, Bundesliga, Serie A, MLS - and more."

EA Sports FC will be announced for the summer of 2023 together with the World Cup add-on, as well as new content, improvements, and other things, which, as EA company believes, will make the new game a quality successor and an even better new football simulation.

On the other hand, FIFA gave details in a separate statement for new things. "Several non-football simulation games are under development and will be announced during the third quarter of 2022. Also, the football experience will be complemented by content related to the 2022 World Cup, which takes place in Qatar in November and later."

According to further plans of FIFA, the original and new FIFA football simulation will be presented in 2024 and will be the best game in that segment, and the organization is already making partnerships with media partners, publishers, and other companies and individuals or groups important for such a project.
