"Foundation"- the first trailer for the 2nd season is out!

Apple TV Plus released the first trailer for the second season of the sci-fi series "Foundation" , an adaptation of Isaac Asimov's series. The trailer focuses on the victims of the Foundation, highlighting how they left their homes and lives for their cause. However, their mission is far from over because, after the fall of the Empire, they will have to rebuild society. In season two, they will face a crisis of religion as the leaders begin to use divine words to control the hopeless people struggling after the fall of the Empire. The trailer highlights new challenges in the upcoming season, revealing that the premiere awaits us in the summer of this year.

Jared Harris (Dr. Hari Seldon), Lee Pace (Brother Day), Lou Llobell (Gaal Dornick), Leah Harvey (Salvor Hardin), Laura Birn (Demerzel), Terrence Mann (Brother Dusk) and Cassian Bilton ( brother Dawn) will reprise their roles. Cast reinforcements for the second season include Isabella Laughland (Brother Constant), Kulvinder Ghir (Poly Verisof), Sandra Yi Sencindiver (Enjoiner Rue), Ella-Rae Smith (Queen Sareth of Cloud Dominion), Dimitri Leonidas (Hober Mallow), Ben Daniels ( Bel Roise), Holt McCallany (Jaegger Fount), Rachel House (Tellem Bond) and Nimrat Kaur (Yanna Seldon).

Based on the award-winning works of Isaac Asimov, the monumental adaptation of Foundation follows a group of exiles on their unique journey to rebuild civilization amid the fall of the Galactic Empire. Key individuals who transcend space and time are faced with deadly crises, shifting loyalties and complicated relationships that will ultimately determine the fate of humanity.

The creator, showrunner, and executive producer is David S. Goyer (Batman Begins, Man of Steel) who conceived a total of eight seasons of the series. But the first season did not go well with critics or viewers, and the second season was renewed before we even got a glimpse of the first. With that in mind, if the upcoming season does not offer something of higher quality and recognition, we strongly doubt that the series will survive those eight seasons.
