Gwen Stefani reveals major plans with Blake
The pair is getting ready to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's idyllic existence has suddenly gotten a lot uglier. The couple, who share their time between Los Angeles and Oklahoma with Gwen's three sons, have a gorgeous property portfolio, with the No Doubt singer revealing they're set to make some substantial improvements to one of them. On The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Gwen said that they are getting their hands dirty with a project that is very different from their star-studded singing careers. Gwen and Blake are remodeling their enormous property at their new Oklahoma ranch themselves, rather than hiring specialists. The mother of three said her husband was already present at the time of the interview and admitted: "He's essentially tilling the ground. He texted me only an hour ago. Today he traveled back to the United States."
"We're doing a major," Gwen added, "and when we do anything, we go big." We're putting a lot of effort into the garden. Daffodils are what we're talking about. Tulips are what we're talking about. We finished all of the bulbs, and now we're working on wildflower seeds and xenia. "So I sent him home to find out how to plow the entire farm and drill a well," she said. When Ellen inquired if Blake had done everything alone thus far, Gwen said, "one man," before adding, "when I get there, he'll be on the tractor moving the dirt for me." She wasn't telling the truth either. Gwen has since shared several photos of the flowers and the backyard they're working so hard to transform on her Instagram Stories.
By the way, the singer met Blake after experiencing a marriage crash in front of the public. Thanks to her ex-husband, musician Gavin Rossdale (56), Gwen is on the infamous list of famous ladies who caught their sweetheart in a nanny's arms, including women like Jude Law and Mick Jagger. She discovered this thanks to a family tablet that contained simple messages and nude photos of Mindy Mann and Gavin. On their wedding day, he proved her incorrect by performing an original song he wrote.
