Hailey Bieber: ’I quit modeling’
Hailey Bieber decided to retire from the catwalks, and the reason is quite traumatic.
The wife of singer Justin Bieber has been in the fashion world for many years. Hailey Bieber did numerous fashion shows for various designer brands and she is one of the recognizable faces on the runways, but one bitter experience forced her to retire early. She started modeling as a teenager, and then in 2014 she was noticed by major brands and began to engage in their campaigns and fashion shows. For a full four years, Hailey Bieber enjoyed the business, traveling the world and all the fashion capitals.
There’s almost no brand that hasn’t hired her, but Hailey decided to retire at the peak of her career. She no longer intends to step on the runways, and now she has explained why.
‘I had a very ugly experience with one very influential casting organizer. He said something very offensive to my agent and it completely ruined my self-confidence while I was on the runway. Since I don’t want to feel bad in my own skin, I quit modeling. There are so many other jobs in which I am good, that I really see no reason to return to a position where someone diminishes my value,' said the 25-year-old.
Although she will not do fashion shows, Bieber intends to stay in the world of fashion and beauty. That is what she truly loves and enjoys. Numerous brands continue to hire her as the face of their campaigns, fashion magazines are struggling to gratify their covers, and in addition to all this, Hailey is working hard on her cosmetic product line.
In June, she will present her line of facial care products called Rhode, and she claims that she has attended many dermatology courses and, with the advice of older colleagues who have thrown themselves into similar waters, she has learned a lot. ‘I’ve already shared my products with a number of make-up artists to try out on my clients, and the reviews have been positive and encouraging,’ she said.We hope that this decision is not final, and Hailey will return to the runways in great light.
